The SVMV represents the interest of the swiss Music Publishers towards the Music Market, Politics. We support our members with Education, Network and Know How and essential business news.
The Swiss Music Publishers Association was founded on the occasion of MIDEM in Cannes on January 23, 1990 and has since grown into a leading institution. In 2018, the SVMV is repositioning itself and setting new goals for the future. The extensive knowledge from 30 years of experience is to be enriched by new ideas, creativity and innovation.
The SVMV supports its members and the Swiss music landscape in achieving their goals. It actively engages in public relations, safeguards the interests of its members vis-à-vis authorities, associations and organizations in the music market and promotes cooperation. Through regular information about developments and trends as well as the exchange of knowledge across generations, the association actively contributes to the education and training of professionals.
